We don't have the money for Haaland and Upamecano if Messi is to be kept.
In this Summer, Suarez, Busquets, Pique, Rakitic, Vidal and Semedo should be gone while lenglet and roberto will be our main substitutions next season.
What Xavi and Iniesta did well was that they know when their times at Barca were up. Busquets and Pique failed to do so.
I think it is also time for Barca to move on from the Messi's Reign. As long as any of Messi, Busquets and Pique remain, they will not give up on Tiki Taka (turning out to be over passing) even they have no teammates who fit perfectly in to the style and themselves have no adequate physical strength/ condition to run it anymore.
We can have Continho, Dembele and Griezmenn up front. Play to their strength and we are good in that department.
Selling Messi and other those goner will provide some much needed fund to strengthen our midfield and defensive line
We should also give much more opportunities to our youngsters esp now that we are short of funding

Unbelievable thing is that we spent 400m(excluding dembele, because his profile is needed and its tragedy that he is injury prone) and all we got is de jong for starting 11.
Whatever we do on the market right now cant be fixed for next 2 seasons.

Bottom line is, we're fucked. The process of making long-term changes had to happen 2/3 years ago, now we will make moves in desperation mode, again.

Ideally we'd get a RB, CB, LB, CM (if we keep using 4-3-3), RW (if Dembel? is gone), CF as starters.

We need to get rid of 60% of the squad. Good luck with that.

First off all you need a coach who can lead, know what he wants and isn't afraid of the players. Enrique and Messi eg.
If you have that then you could get an idea how he wants to play.

imo You could even keep Suarez and Pique as a backup or for the last 15 minutes. Even with 35 Suarez will be a pain in the ass for every defense.

Just NO. those players you suggested to keep as a backup won't accept being a backup. They will spread toxic in the dressing room. We need radical changes. Even if we bring a strong coach, it will be a season full of clashes between said strong manager and the seniors. SELL those losers.

Selling Griezmann because he is useless playing out of position. The money we gain from selling him will help us rebuild this team.
Braithwaite is just a backup, we do need a backup striker.
