This is obviously BS, but the smart move next summer, would be to punt de jong and go all out to sign kimmich on a free.
Hopefully the club is thinking this strategically.

Despite Lamine, Olmo and Raphinha destroying La Liga at the moment, I would still get a winger next summer, so we can rotate and have a backup. Ferret and Fati probably won't cut it. I'd get a winger...
On the following example I'll use Nico, but other players could be used. The player should have pace and high work rate.
Raphinha-Olmo-Yamal (Nico rested or a sub for Raphinha)
Nico-Olmo-Yamal (Raphinha rested or a sub for either winger)
Nico-Raphinha(or Pedri/Fermin)-Yamal (Olmo rested or sub for CAM)
Nico-Olmo-Raphinha (Yamal rested or Raphinha sub)
I would confidently start El Clasico with any of those 4 options.
