President Laporta will go all out for Pep Guardiola and plans to call him on Sunday, after the Champions League final. [as]

Bullshit. Laporta and Guardiola have a very close relationship and he already knows that Pep will stay at City.

Coming back in 2 years after Leo left to the US and rebuilding Barca from the scratch sounds more like something Pep would do. Xavi as coach of the B-team or Guardiola assistant is something I consider more realistic than Pep coming back before some of his old players retire.

Laporta is thinking longterm.

he was shite though. the fact that he scored a couple and we got rid quickly without a loss made him a good(ok) transfer. otherwise, if he stayed 2 years here he would have been hated as the likes of vidal.

He was not great technically but the team as a whole were better early in season when he played and supported Messi and looked like Messi enjoyed what he brought also at that point.

Paulinho was not good enough on the ball ball he did show differences that can be made when other types of players are in the team.

Wijnaldum is far better on ball than him anyway.

Vidal was most likely bought because he what Paulinho brought as an option on some aspects of game but he was too old in a team full of old players.

It’s gonna be tough this summer for Laporta to sell our deadwood. Real is looking to sell, Inter is looking to sell, also COVID hit the clubs hard so there is no money. I don’t know who is gonna pay for our players.

I just have to point out how jealous I am of Bayern. Apparently they are sturggling to extend Coman because they won't bow down to any players demands, it's just painful to see a club run like that.

I really hope Laporta does stick to his word and make the neccessary changes!

They never had a Messi or Ronaldo to break their wage structure either. So it's normal if from the get go they set a certain salary cap.
It also helps to basically be the German national team at club level and everyone just bows down to you.

I very much like my Rivaldos, Ronaldinhos and Messis. Not some team that play like robots.

Nobody because most of them don't want to leave even if some club would be willing to pay for them.
