It all depends on how things look in January... if top 4 is lost (or secured) he doesn't make an awful lot of sense, if we are in a tight fight it might.

Plan A is obviously loaning a "high" profile player (like Sterling, Ziyech, Werner...), but I don't think that's realistic.

Ziyech does not score many goals .. Sterling will not score many goals for this team and Werner could not hit a cows backside with a banjo

Cabral is a very interesting option, young & able to score goals in a variety of ways - he is a perfect profile of forward for Barca

Will Basel let him go mid-season when they are top of the table atm?

Just scouted him for less than 5 minutes on youtube and can know confidently say he's nowhere near good enough.

He would be a big uprade over LDJ, almost retired Aguero and Braithwaite imo. If in summer and we'd have more money then I'd agree but in current state can't possibly get someone much better imo.

Really depends on price and what other options are realistically available (probably not that many) in January though.
