Croatian media says that Romano and Fichajes said that Barcelona is interested in Croatian RB starter Josip Juranovic (27) from Celtic.
His transfermarkt worth was only 6,5m Euros before the World cup.

Awesome if true.

How good is he though?
He is brilliant this tournament, his numbers with Angeers is decent tbh, but never watched him there.
Based on WC, I would take him for Barca

Great talent .. very young 22. Immense world cup and amazing with the ball. Now.. as with many many great raw talents .. u never know how it pans out. Sometimes it's a matter of gamble .I hope he goes to a mid-table club in Spain first.

Villarreal level of signing though surely.

There's a reason he hasn't been linked in summer or during the first half of season. A few world cup games shouldn't change things.

I think we need to take a gamble on these sorts of players if the price is right. If someone is young and proven at club level price starts at 100 million plus.
Look at Endrick. Hasn't proven anything and Madrid are willing to pay 70 million.
I would take a chance in Ounahi. Also it's time Xavi adjusted the playing style according to the players he has as opposed to trying to shoehorn them into something he deems ideal.

Absolutely we need to broaden our horizons scouting and Ligue1 is a great venue. I just don't know what to think of a player who is at the bottom of Ligue1 though moving into a club like ours though. In defence of Angers, they do seem to have decent scouting and development judging by young players moving to Sociedad, Wolves and Serie A over the past few seasons, but no one is moving to tier-1/high pressure clubs.

Now from what Ounahi has shown in the WC he has been excellent. If this is his usual level then he has definitely gone under the radar.

I do reckon he will move in January and the name of Barcelona is being used to stir the pot so to speak.

Where would he play though? We have Pedri as our offensive midfielder.

The Maroc player we should target- if any, is Amrabat.

There are quite a few unearthed gems out there who fly under the radar. It's time to spend money on the best possible scouting set up. It's better to spend 10 million on scouting than going around wasting sums of 30 and 40 million plus on misfits.
Laporta and Co are still in denial about our state of affairs.

Would be careful with World Cup stars imo. Can follow them for the rest of the season but I wouldn't want to splash on anyone in January.
