I think any serious team will cut right through us, might work in La Liga but in the CL, I doubt Arthur-FDJ can hold their ground. I prefer and athletic ball winner in there, can be Soumare/Camavinga, but I think Matheus Fernandes we just brought will be special.

Don't think Arthur and FDJ are a reason for concern. Lack of depth in central defence and forward line will kill chances in CL. Forwards without fresh legs lack ruthlessness.

I like them both especially Frenkie but I simply can’t see them hold ground in a two man midfield in difficult CL games. IMO we need to play a DM/box to box who is also good on the ball.

Take a look at the latest CL winners. Madrid has Casemiro and Liverpool won it finally with Fabinho. They probably gonna win again. We won it with Yaya and young Busi

I believe Arthur and Frenkie can compete in CL, Busquets can't anymore. Combine them with someone you said and we'll be fine. So basically, I agree. I hoped Barça sign Fabinho back when he was at Monaco.

However, I think Frenkie, Arthur and Vidal will be our best bet this year.

By new player I want someone who can score goals , assists and play defence something what is Vidal doing now.
This attack would be great in my opinion because you have 2 young players who are one of the fastest players in the world, who can dribble.
Also Werner is goal machine who can provide option for counter attack like Adama.

Messi could be less used in attack and have more strength because now is too much used and also is not so young.

On bench you have Trinicao, Griezmann and Suarez.
I would sell Dembele. Or maybe even Griezmann because he is so shit individual player for our system.

Looks nice and I agree with lots of it. I like Werner and we lack runners in behind but could be ideal if he could create with the ball aswell. Richarlison is also someone I would consider for that position. Sane aswell.

Soumare is essential but with all of Europe after him and no rumors linking him to us, I doubt it
I do not think that we are going to get any of these if I am being honest. CFC seems interested in Soumare. Richarlison will not be cheap, unfortunately. It is hard not to sign Werner when he is available for around 40m.

It was reported a month or two ago we need to sell for 100m to cover for our expenses in the last few years. Since then we've "sold" Perez, A.Marques and Ruiz for around 30m and 40m for Malcom is also included in this season since he was sold in August so we're still around 30m short. And we need to sell before July 1 when a new season/fiscal year starts. So we would need to cover for whatever we would additionally spend now in a very limited time and we don't really have a lot of options to sell. We won't find a buyer for Coutinho soon nor for Dembele coming off another injury. We can sell Vidal for around 15-20m but we'll probably hold onto him in hope for better offers (or to try including him in the Lautaro deal which can only still happen in July when his clause is set at 111m) and also until we bring another midfielder. Raki doesn't want to leave Spain so maybe we'll manage to ship him to AM or Sevilla for 15-20m but there is no guarantee for this either. Anyway, we are nowhere close to get guaranteed around 130m so we could easily spend them 100m on Richarlison. The only way this deal could've worked is if it would be a loan with buy-option but then again why would Everton sell their key player during the season if they wouldn't get money immediately?

I think it's time to move on from both Dembele and Coutinho. We won't get much for them but at least we can free up a lot of money by getting rid off their wages. Bring a veteran like Willian who can cover both RW and AMC (in those rare games Messi doesn't play) and give a lot of playing time to Trincao to see what we have in him. Also, Suarez, Pique and Busi will all still be here and 95% at least two of them will be starters in most games so nothing will really change, except Pique will maybe do a bit better with a faster more athletic CB alongside him and we would have a bit more depth in attack. Umtiti should be sold as well unless he'll stay healthy for the rest of this season and get close to his pre-injury form. I could see him being motivated enough to get a spot for Euro to do exactly this but then again he's also stupid enough to force playing through injuries again at Euro so if he would actually raise his value a bit over the next few months l'd sell him for whatever we can get before he's injured again.
I agree, but I cannot see us moving from either. Trying to swap one of them with Sane seems reasonable. True, Suarez, Busquets, Alba and Pique are going to be starters next season. Rakitic is the only one who may leave.

I would not sell Umtiti for a few reasons:
- We have seen him when he is in-form
- Cannot do it financially
- He is the least of our problems

Unfortunately, nothing will change next season.

Sancho, Richarlison etc aren't good enough. i'd be especially wary of buying players from Dortmund or Bundesliga with how poor the quality of that leagues defending is these days

Barto needs to sell Coutinho, Dembele and probably Griezmann and bring us Neymar AND Martinez, a total revamp of our front 3 with Ansu off the bench

I agree, except for the AM position unless we sell Coutinho. Coutinho = Martínez and Dembele = Sane without adding any $ would be crazy, but cannot see it happening.

Even then we still need another midfielder + a decent CB and two fullbacks.
That’s just to catch up to Liverpool
