Looks nice and I agree with lots of it. I like Werner and we lack runners in behind but could be ideal if he could create with the ball aswell. Richarlison is also someone I would consider for that position. Sane aswell.
Soumare is essential but with all of Europe after him and no rumors linking him to us, I doubt it
I do not think that we are going to get any of these if I am being honest. CFC seems interested in Soumare. Richarlison will not be cheap, unfortunately. It is hard not to sign Werner when he is available for around 40m.
It was reported a month or two ago we need to sell for 100m to cover for our expenses in the last few years. Since then we've "sold" Perez, A.Marques and Ruiz for around 30m and 40m for Malcom is also included in this season since he was sold in August so we're still around 30m short. And we need to sell before July 1 when a new season/fiscal year starts. So we would need to cover for whatever we would additionally spend now in a very limited time and we don't really have a lot of options to sell. We won't find a buyer for Coutinho soon nor for Dembele coming off another injury. We can sell Vidal for around 15-20m but we'll probably hold onto him in hope for better offers (or to try including him in the Lautaro deal which can only still happen in July when his clause is set at 111m) and also until we bring another midfielder. Raki doesn't want to leave Spain so maybe we'll manage to ship him to AM or Sevilla for 15-20m but there is no guarantee for this either. Anyway, we are nowhere close to get guaranteed around 130m so we could easily spend them 100m on Richarlison. The only way this deal could've worked is if it would be a loan with buy-option but then again why would Everton sell their key player during the season if they wouldn't get money immediately?
I think it's time to move on from both Dembele and Coutinho. We won't get much for them but at least we can free up a lot of money by getting rid off their wages. Bring a veteran like Willian who can cover both RW and AMC (in those rare games Messi doesn't play) and give a lot of playing time to Trincao to see what we have in him. Also, Suarez, Pique and Busi will all still be here and 95% at least two of them will be starters in most games so nothing will really change, except Pique will maybe do a bit better with a faster more athletic CB alongside him and we would have a bit more depth in attack. Umtiti should be sold as well unless he'll stay healthy for the rest of this season and get close to his pre-injury form. I could see him being motivated enough to get a spot for Euro to do exactly this but then again he's also stupid enough to force playing through injuries again at Euro so if he would actually raise his value a bit over the next few months l'd sell him for whatever we can get before he's injured again.
I agree, but I cannot see us moving from either. Trying to swap one of them with Sane seems reasonable. True, Suarez, Busquets, Alba and Pique are going to be starters next season. Rakitic is the only one who may leave.
I would not sell Umtiti for a few reasons:
- We have seen him when he is in-form
- Cannot do it financially
- He is the least of our problems
Unfortunately, nothing will change next season.
