Joan Laporta wants to strengthen the team in the winter transfer window after the return to the 1:1 rule. @MigRico

Yo.. A lot of our players needs contract extensions and that probably comes with a bigger salary. Yes there are some players who could be sold and make room but they're still here at this point. Imagine the scene if this 1:1 mess starts all over again in the summer because of him splashing some money in the winter. His next signings are going to be very important, no room for errors.

Give me Earth, Give me Fire, Give me Vik Gyokeres or I retire. :flick:

Just get Mingueza as backup.

We don't have money for top players.

Yamal, Pedri, Araujo all waiting for new contracts.

Our biggest victory will be offloading De Jong and Fati in summer.

Until this 2 frauds are not away from the club, I don't except any signings.

Mingueza for Eric Garcia would actually be a decent transfer market

This is an important point because we have a lot of young players who are waiting for big pay rises. They are on old contracts and will be demanding salaries reflecting their starting role and future talent. You can add Casado and Cubarsi to that.

That is going to take up a huge amount of budget in itself, I wonder if the club even accounted that before signing Olmo?

They did. Our salary cap will likely increase by 200M at least by 26/27 when renewals happens. And half of our amortization will be over by then.

List of Brazilian (wonder)kids we're following at Copinha 2025 going on right now.

Gabriel Mec (Gremio, LW/AM, 16)

Luighi (Palmeiras, CF, 18)

Matheus Alves (Sao Paulo, CM, 19)

Denner (Corinthians, LB, 16)

Phillipe Gabriel (Vasco da Gama, GK, 18)

128 clubs competing (32 groups with 4 teams). Lot of teams I've never heard of but I guess big clubs should go through group stage. Will try and catch some games when they get to Round of 16 or so though.

Also, interesting fact, there are 18 players named after Juan Roman Riquelme. Riquelme, Rikelme or some sort of that.

I thought Mec is joining Chelsea. He is a very interesting talent tbf.

I mean those are players born between 2005 to 2008, back then Riquelme was one of the most entertaining players in the world and was very popular in SA.

Son renews with spurs guess he's allergic to winning
Not everybody cares about winning trophies.

He's happy, settled and loyal to an amazing Football club. Good for him and his family.

Fans overrate trophies a lot. Most players aren't nearly as obsessed with it as fans think. Most prefer money over trophies anyways.

Many Footballers don't even love the game. They just see it as a job and hate watching the sport. R9 hates watching football and prefers watching 4 hour long tennis games.

That's a dirty rumour of Araujoe on loan to Juve.

Might have to boycott the season and stick with the B if we done that.
