It doesn't make sense. We have a buy clause on Faye. Left footed CB

Yes he's not lighting up the world there. But an avg 6.8 Sofa rating while playing 600'.
I would say thats pretty decent for a 20-year-old player joining a new team and new league.

Give him time.

He will be a B team signing on free, so those are never related to what we have or not.

Anyway, it seems Manu will get him, and someone is saying he us leaving Arsenal because he was a midfielder but they have recently insisted on him turning into a CB.

Is our buy-back for Faye expiring in 2026 or 2027?

Either way don't see him coming back.

Also, Sport is mentioning Murillo today. Not the first time we're linked to him but with NF potentially challenging for CL spots don't see him leaving anytime soon. It's also a big difference between Nuno's defensive system and Flick's suicidal high line not to mention high price. But who knows, things can change a lot in 18 months.

Murillo just renewed without a release clause. Would cost a fortune now. We should be able to find Murillos earlier, 18 months ago he cost 12m.

Ofc, didn't suggest we should spend big on him. We also had quite a good success rate with cheap(ish) CBs lately so really no need to waste big money unless we're convinced he's the one. But fixation on certain players with no adequate alternatives has usually turned out bad.

Also first rule on the market should be - never buy from EPL clubs (unless signing FAs like Christensen or Gundo ofc) and always try to sell to them. But there are many clubs who are doing this much better or smarter than us.
