It doesn't make sense. We have a buy clause on Faye. Left footed CB

Yes he's not lighting up the world there. But an avg 6.8 Sofa rating while playing 600'.
I would say thats pretty decent for a 20-year-old player joining a new team and new league.

Give him time.

He will be a B team signing on free, so those are never related to what we have or not.

Anyway, it seems Manu will get him, and someone is saying he us leaving Arsenal because he was a midfielder but they have recently insisted on him turning into a CB.

Is our buy-back for Faye expiring in 2026 or 2027?

Either way don't see him coming back.

Also, Sport is mentioning Murillo today. Not the first time we're linked to him but with NF potentially challenging for CL spots don't see him leaving anytime soon. It's also a big difference between Nuno's defensive system and Flick's suicidal high line not to mention high price. But who knows, things can change a lot in 18 months.

Murillo just renewed without a release clause. Would cost a fortune now. We should be able to find Murillos earlier, 18 months ago he cost 12m.

Ofc, didn't suggest we should spend big on him. We also had quite a good success rate with cheap(ish) CBs lately so really no need to waste big money unless we're convinced he's the one. But fixation on certain players with no adequate alternatives has usually turned out bad.

Also first rule on the market should be - never buy from EPL clubs (unless signing FAs like Christensen or Gundo ofc) and always try to sell to them. But there are many clubs who are doing this much better or smarter than us.

Logical that Andreas accepts an exit which would facilitate Rashford’s arrival & integration

For any other consideration (including a FW or FB), another exit or income via player sales would be needed

My guess is, Rashford or no one this winter

I'm not opposed to selling Christensen for a good price. I really like him but sadly don't believe he can be seriously counted on with his achilles problems.

Another question is how much would we need to sell him for to create enough cap space to squeeze in Rashford for example. Obviously selling AC for 10m would give us more room than selling Eric for the same amouns as AC is on higher wages but would that be enough?

also, not saying we should sign Rashford (as said before wouldn't mind him on a cheap loan - United covering most of his wages - and affordable buy option in case he works out well) but agree with you he's probably the most likely target.

Since Lyon is in problems, there is LW guy Malick Foffana.

Great speed and agility, shots with both feet.

If we can't get top signings getting young player with high celling us must.

The logical choice will be Gyokeres. Regardless of if he is the best or not. Supposedly they will let him go from a reasonable price since he is staying this winter.

They already have Trincao so use him to lighten the load. Also we could maybe use Roque either by directly selling him to Sporting or selling him to someone else and using that money. He hasn't been terrible in Betis.

Any other good striker is too expensive.

It comes down to Gyokeres or Šeško for cca 70m in the summer. I'm afraid that if we don't get one of them this summer, they will be gone.

1000% agree. Also if they do go and we sit with Lewa I don't really know who else is out there that can work for Barca.

Osimhen maybe but he likely moves this summer to the EPL. Strikers don't grow on trees.
