There's another option that will work, but not alot of people will want me to name him (pulling a vintage Birdy tease there)

I'm a Gyokeres fan, so would want him. But we need a striker and a good one at that, if we want to win anything next season.

Our choice is either saving 15-20mil in salary and not going for a striker but we will lose about the same in not progressing through the CL group stages next season. So at the end it comes out even.

But we will lose out on some incredible ones, and there are not many of that calibre. We need to take a leap of faith with either Sesko or Gyokeres. But we will reap the reawards if it works out.

Nah it's soon to be 32 year old Harry Kane for 3/4 seasons.

Bayern then sign Gyo or Sesko.

He will smash the goals under Flickball. Mah never win anything ever again though.
This is oddly something that we are capable of doing...

And then we sign 32 year old Gyökeres from Bayern? And the cycle goes on..

But yeah Kane would be guaranteed success imo. Too old though. Time to buy long term striker who isn't nearing retirement.

Perfect age for buying a striker is late 20s like Suarez. 30s is simply too late.
Buying any younger for big money is just dumb, unless its some Haaland regen.

Thing is, yet again no one really wants to go because they are experiencing that this might be "The barca" side and they all want to fight for their spot. Flick and board should be more ruthless.
Fati is a leech if he doesnt want to go. He clearly is on good salary, no ambition, young, and thinks he'd rather sit out contract then risk somewhere else. Truth is if he continues doing this after contract expires he would play in segunda or retire, no one would be interested in his services.

Fdj need to be talked with, you either sign contract extension or fuck off on the stands. As much as i like him as a player, we need to secure our investments, and now is the right time to negotiate better deal, no hard feelings, we need you on this wages, bonus bla bla, or you wont play for 1 year and half before world cup.

as much as i dont like madrid, perez policy is ruthless how it should be.

There is no scenario FDJ is sent to the stands.

FDJ knows it and the club know it.

It makes absolutely no sense for either side.

There is not a scenario where that happens before him even leaving for free let alone a small fee.

Only way would be if FDJ refuses to leave for free or asks for remainder of contract and cant see any scenario he thinks that is better alternative than leaving.

It's unlikely but not impossible, Laporta tried it with Dembele and only Xavi brought him back. Deregistration is impossible, that's true.

Just sold Unai for 5 mil.

Now we can splash on brainless rejects like Rushford or Doku. Before Laporta spends it all on dinners

Dembele was never ever happening. Was just Laporta and club bumping their gums.

Dembele and agent saw right through it.
