Kimmich RB would be Cancelo 2.0. Great in attack, sucks in defense. Also Kounde had worse games as CB under Xavi, he finally found his happiness as RB. It would be the worst idea to destroy a working system. Versatility is good, but not at the cost of stability.

Would be sideways moves in terms of first 11.

Could open up cashflow for a sale of Araujo or Kounde (or Christensen) though for some income. While perhaps Kounde would excel in Flicks system.

In midfield would think Kimmich would be a better version of what Casado is doing, though if Casado succeeds in the next two games then we don't really need to cut his wings.

So yeah, Kimmich today looks like a luxury signing.
