What should the club prioritize

That's the equivalent of something CR7 fans would say. Mental parallel bar gymnastics.
Lewy fans say that too. In fact they might soon invade the Lewy thread saying he gets the hate despite scoring goals... It is what it is. A lot of people at the club probably go by that logic too. It's a little bit crazy, I forgot he was on the pitch for some time yet he got away with a penalty brace.

This spanish LB guy in Benfinca is good.

We have been interested in him.

Probably price is now out of the reach.

Judging by recent upgraded version of Balde, the LB position is more likely to be filled by a squad role player. I'd rather sign DM + CF as starting players. Not sold on Casado. But since we can't sign both, CF + back-up winger is first priority next summer. Then we'll monitor Casado and possibly Bernal's progress.

Not satisfied with CB area at all either. You're not well covered when 33 year old Inigo Martinez is the leader of your defense.

I heard Tah had a stinker vs Atletico.

Van Dijk has still not signed a new deal. Get him on a two year contract, forget about that bum Tah.

Salah would be also great on a two year deal. Could play all our positions in the forward line.

I think fullback alternatives are essential. Balde is improving but his physical status is a question mark for me. A LB slightly below his level would be ideal for rotation and competition. At RB Kounde is fine in most games but when we need offensive output a different type of RB would be great to have on bench.

Mingueza could be a good bet on a cheap. Sure he's no Dani Alves but he's more vertical and direct than Kounde at least.

A direct Lewy replacement also high on the list but impossible considering the cost combined with having to force Lewy to leave.

After that we can focus on width at LW/RW.

Club seems to rate Kochen but I hope they are eagerly scouring the GK market, short to medium term.

I think Lewa’s not leaving.

The only chance to bring a new striker might be to extend him. Apparently, he’s willing to distribute his salary over two seasons. If Deco and co managed sth like that, we might have enough room for a new 9.

Would he accept that though? It would be his death sentence if he enables club to sign proper CF.

At least now he has his starting spot, the only CF we can sign are cheap crap like Jonathan David, no competition for Lewy.

It depends on what he has in mind. If he doesn't want to go to retirement league before his retirement, or want it to delay as possible. Then it is better to extend with Barca. Or maybe his family is settled here and he wants to stay.

I am not saying ut will happen, but that's what we should try to do tbh.
