My last post was on 4th of August 2012, 12:37 PM(I am not of those you would miss,so-you proffited...I did too-didn't waste any days in hopeless arguess))I gave up.I couldn't take any more mocking,unrealistic idealising of our players,overemotional reactions to realistic criticism and stubborn resistance to any change.
Instead of quoting my self,just reminding essence of what I was saying then:
1.We need to open our treasury and buy first class CB.Not good one,not realy good one,not realy,realy,realy good one.No.We need cream of the cream.'Cause our rivals have MONSTERS in their offensive line,'cause we want to be CL champions and for that top quality is necessary,'cause we DESERVE those who are considered best in the business.So I suggested Kompany,Ivanovic,Luiz...
Answers:"Those players don't have good enough technique","Those players wouln't fit in our style","Pique and Bartra will do fine","Puyol won't retire yet!","They are 2 expensive!"(so I suggested Kaboul,Agger...)
2.We need big,strong,tough,good passer,experinenced,versitale and long-range-shooter(during game and for the free kicks,too) DM.To enter the game when bone crushing(when soft technique fails,brute strength maybe won't)and artillery services are needed(and to shoot from 30m distances and make us dangerous when rivals park several double deckers in front of their goals-'cause so far EVERYBODY knows we are meek harmless outside the square and will try to pass into their goal).So I suggested Gerrard,K.P.Boateng,bringing back Yaya,bla,bla...

One of my last posts after hearing all this was:"God help us this season..."(Not even God could help us)and "Let's hope I'm wrong,but I'm affraid this is not the way we shoul do..."
Season 2014/2015?Well,we keep on walking the same path...nothing changed,really.
We just buy FWs one after another,making that half of the pitch superstrong.The other half will stay mediocre,obviosly...(strategy called:"Galacticos")
We''ll keep on trying to walk into the goal.So our rivals will just concentrate their bodys in 5m square and chill.
At the end,it's not all black-we bought that Ter Stegen guy.He looks respectable.And our ex Yugo brother,Rakitic,is pretty good player-maybe he can shoot from at least 26m?That would be spectacular...
Now I even think we should get ourselves a true CF.Someone like Mandzukic(maybe he wouldn't be expensive now after Lewandowski arrived)!Massive,strong guy who can muscle his way into position to shoot/jump and use some of those countless high balls...he wouldn't be our first option,obviosly...just when our light,fast,agile FWs exhaust their CBs -he can go in the game and brake them!
Well...I was optimistic when I heard Enrique sighned,but now I'm affraid we will continue with the same,OBSOLETE,well known and predictable concept of "pass untill you pass trough the goal-line".I realy hope I'm wrong and just being,as we here say,"black raven"...and that we will winn tripple crown again!

Mathieu will most likely happen. The problem is I hope he's not the only one. Zoobidoo spewed the "there aren't many cb's that can play for Barça" BS again today.

I wouldnt be surprised if Mathieu is the only cb signed.
Not many clubs have four cbs that play regularly. Barca would have three and Masch that can cover if needed.

Same as with Neymar transfer. Splash the entire budget on an attacker but at least this time around they'll have 15M left because of that "We'll spend next year's budget too" flawed logic.

Pique, Bartra and Mathieu with Masch as cover aren't enough. The only player among them who's Barca starter material is Pique. It's probably what we'll end up with though.
