I had decided I wasn't gonna get consumed by the transfer season. But I can't help but follow our CB pursuits. Apparently we are interested in Sidnei (on loan at Depor from Benfica B). So is any good, or his potential acquisition merely meant to keep Neyboy company as the latter could be losing some of his Brazilian groupies (Adriano and Douglas).

Sidnei is actually a very good player and if we are talking a deal that is 10 or less he is a bargain.
But it isn't what we-fans- are hoping since most of us want a CB who is young and has the potential to be starter,Sidnei is a solid back up for 5-6 seasons.
