Reading that MD article that DonAK posted earlier, apparently if we do have any money left over we will buy a "DM" to rotate with Busi.

David Torras said this on Cat radio.

David Torras: "Barça needs at least 4 players, not to mention D. Suárez. 2 defensive players, 1 midfielder and 1 striker."

I think our priority is a CB/LB and a striker then a Midfielder if we have any money left.

I think the big Barca splash this summer will be to buy a forward, a delantero who can play on either side. This solves all depth problems at both forward and the two offensive midfield positions. Messi will start quite a few games in midfield.

Sergi Roberto can focus on backing up just DM and the two fullback spots. Keep the same top 3 CBs, maybe replace Verm and Bartra with a new #4 just in case of multiple injuries. Keep the two current keepers.

The rest of the squad outside the first 11, who cares? Maybe Rafinha, Arda, D. Suarez and Munir can help, but they are unlikely to get much opportunity. Beyond the top 13 outfield players, they are all deep backup only, they just don't make much difference. They will get unhappy and leave pretty soon, anyway, due to lack of playing time.

Yes, Barca can afford to pay a lot for this new forward, with all that new Nike money.

We're terrible at transfers if the player doesn't push to come here. We need a promising Cb. Masch and Mathieu have 2 years tops. We need Alves replacement asap. Iniesta has 2 years at top level play as well. We need a forward who can play all 3 spots at the front.

There are always options out there. Kante cost 7m euros, Lucas Perez 1.5m, Jonathan Tah 10m, Jeison Murillo cost 8m, Payet cost 13m, just to name a few.
