Lucas Perez scored 17 goals with 8 assists in la liga. 0.72 G+A per 90 minutes. He can't be that bad guys. Gameiro has 0.86 G+A per 90 minutes in comparison.

You're guessing. And not a good guess at that considering Denis could always come back due to the terms of his sale/loan. Nolito, remained in the conversation in winter & this summer - players from the team talked about it even at the Euros. Nolito was an option but the club/board decided to go another way

What?The terms of sale was clear,we can bought him only in July. We had no right to bring him back in January.
There is no guessing in my post,It is already said that we wanted Denis last summer but FIFA rejected it.we tried to get him last winter and Villarreal rejected (which they had every right to).
Nolito was an option,but we preferred no9 since we got Denis. That is from the mouth of the guy who make the signings himself.

They sold Gomes to us, and Mustafi if that fee is correct he's gone as well and theirs rumors they are trying to sell Diego Alves.
