Well at CM they have Goretzka, Kimmich, Tolisso and Cuisance. Plus Alaba can play there. Javi Martinez is still there even though it seems like he's leaving.
Remember, Alphonso is actually a winger, so Gnabry or Sane could play CAM. Coman is there too.
But they do look a little thin up front at CAM/CF with no clear experienced sub.
Transfer window isn't closed yet either.
Yes, it is thin. But look at M?ller's injury history and because of the fraud in the national team he gets his breaks in the international breaks. M?ller even seldom gets so called "performance related breaks" during the training sessions that others often get. And Lewy always wants to play and has a nearly similar injury history - and there is Zirkzee, too. Combined with one of M?ller or Lewy he is enough for Bundesliga matches.
The fourth winger and 2nd right back are more important.
G?tze actually would be a good signing. On a lower wage and without transfer sum. That team does not need two fast wingers to function for the league - in combination with M?ller + Lewy and a winger G?tze will function well. Not as no. 10 as M?ller is central to the pressing and command in that team - but in the fluidity that team can offer as offensive allrounder. One of my favourite matches in the Pep era was the first half in Berlin in 2014 in which we only played with 3 attackers (and that usually was not my preferred formation) with a very offensive Alaba working the left side alone - and Robben, M?ller and G?tze all switching between 9, false 9, 10 and winger.
He is not the coming world beater anymore - Germany's answer to Messi - that he was coming to Bayern. With that whole baggage on his back. Or the "favourite son coming home again". He would come without much expectations to a team in which he has a lot friends in and a coach he trusts and who values him.
