Something that I have noticed from Bayern over the past few years, is that it is such a good groupstage team achieving 22 wins out of 24 groupstage games in the last 5 seasons of the old format, and besides 2019-20, they have somewhat struggled in most of their knockout games like the games against Villarreal and the first leg against Salzburg that same season. Aswell as 2022-23, when they were obliterated by Man City despite performing a somewhat honorable performance against PSG. This phenomenon became so apparent last seaon when they had to comeback from 1-0 down against Lazio and qualified to the semis because of a thumping Kimmich header against Arsenal in the Allianz. These past few Bayern teams don't really feel like true Bayern sides and don't dominate opposition like usual.

🚨 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Jamal Musiala will be 𝐨𝐮𝐭 for 6/8 weeks after suffering a muscle tear in his left hamstring, Bayern have confirmed.

Musiala will try to be back for the final games of the season and then also for the FIFA Club World Cup.
