Since Gotze came in Bayern looked more comfortable attacking. He will be a vital part of Pep's team..
Yeah, after so long time i didn't expect him to be so good too. Right now Pep has to figure something, Gotze will have his place at the line up so i don't know who will be benched. Robben seems to be trusted by Pep, Muller not many chances he will be benched. So it leaves with either Kroos or Mandzukic who wasn't so effective when Pep told him to play into the way at some point in the Dortmund game, if Pep is going to play this way. We can't know yet, have to wait and see.
Im just assuming, if Pep wants to play a line up with a striker or someone who can be used on the wing, Gotze and Kroos will be the attacking midfielders and Muller will play in the centre, So its Mandzukic out.It depends on how Guardiola intends to play Götze. He can be either the forward or the false 9 in the 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-4 formation. In my opinion Kroos is by far the one who might be losing his starting spot.

Thiago won't be over this guys anyway right now. He has to figure out something smart to fit the most of them out there and leave them satisfied. We have to wait for the next games.Unlikely. Müller has been pretty useless in the lone forward position for several games already. Mandžukić is much better in that position. If Guardiola must start Müller, he will probably start him as the RW or the CAM position that he is familiar with. But then again, Robbery has been doing so well in the pre-season, it is unlikely Müller will start at the expense of Robben. I still don't know how Guardiola can accommodate them all.
The best option of course is to bench Thiago. Problem solved.
