Modrić was a Barca fan, but we know how that went...That's true, Šeško is taking things slowly and smart like Haaland did. He's taking similar steps in his career and could see him staying another season at Leipzig unless he explodes in the second part of the season. He's still improving and learning, I don't think he's totally ready for a big club already. He'll have offers to move but could see him chosing otherwise.
He's a Madrid fan though but that usually doesn't matter.
Just as I said that the rumours died down, they picked up, at least in Slovenian media.
According to reports, Arsenal is still the favourite to sign him in the summer, however apparently AC Milan and us are also very interested.
Which is good for us on the Šeško front as it prevents potential bidding war between us and Arsenal.Arsenal are in for Vlahovic this window. If it happens, it takes them out of the race.
If we clear cap space with getting rid of FDJ and Fati, salaries shouldn't be a problem. That space should be enough for a striker, a winger, a fullback and Tah. He would cost 65-70 million, which is basically the same as Nico Williams. The problem is that if we decide to go for him, we can find ourselves in the middle of a bidding war, which is worst case scenario as our budget is limited. The problem is that I don't think we'll go for him. He's not a big name but would cost a lot, we have the tractor to pay next season, he's not some marketable name, he's from a small country... We usually don't sign this kind of players. Sure Laporta would dreams about Haaland and will rather try with him in 2026 (hope not).
