Bernardo Silva

Bild say Brandt has joined bayern.

I thought this was April Fools.

Of course it could still turn out to be true. German teams have a strange obsession selling their best players to Bayern instead of foreign clubs. Usually also for less money they could get if they'd sell to Barça, Real, Juve, EPL teams... Really can't understand that.

Because you can't sell players to teams they don't want to join. Otherwise everyone would sell to China.

If your options are Bayern and the English clubs, then I think most players would go for Bayern. Unless Barca or Real Madrid are interested too.

Germany has pretty much only one prestigious club at the moment and that is Bayern. So it is natural most German domestic talent want to go to Bayern.

Well, Dortmund seems to soak up ALOT of talent.
Established players around 25 wants to go to Bayern.

Most of the talent BVB stocks up are foreign though, not German: Dembele, Emre Mor, Raphael Guerreiro, Pulisic, Merino and that Swedish wunderkind Isak...

Merino is barely playing though. Thought he was an interesting talent after having watched a few Spain U21 games. Now they've signed Dahoud in his position too.

There were rumours about Merino going to Bilbao.

I get that but don't understand why they so gladly accept 30M offer from Bayern if foreign clubs are willing to pay 40 or 50M. German clubs shouldn't just bend over for Bayern like that.

tbh they also get many of Bayern "unwanted" players too. It isn't like Bayern sell every player to foreign clubs and buy German best players.
Also I really don't remember cases of German clubs accepting lower offer from Bayern

Of course other clubs get Bayern's rejects but that doesn't help them to make themselves and BL in general more competitive. It would be better for clubs like Dortmund and Leverkusen to keep their (younger) stars than to get players that Bayern don't need in return. But maybe it's just my dislike for Bayern talking. I've never liked them.

Well as I said, the players will normally block transfer to the highest bidder and instead join the team they prefer.
For the seller it's better to take the money (which isn't even that low tbf), than to let him leave for free the next year like it happened with Lewandowski.
Bayern is certainly more attractive to players than any PL club is at the moment, especially if mentioned palyers are actually german or just play in the league already. It would require Barca or Madrid to come knocking to convince them of other possible alternatives, but how often do you see the two actually bidding for such players? I always only read about links or interests but where was the concrete offer? I'm sure the sellers would gladly accept these crazy 50m+ PL-offers, but that can't be finalised if the player isn't going to sign for them.

What a great run by him for 0-1! I honestly think he might be a better fit for us than Coutinho if Messi moves from RW to CAM but he can also play in the midfield.

He would be the best available player to mold into something similiar to Iniesta.
Quick and techniqual.
There not much of quality available in the midfield department, Verratti is 99% not possible.
From what is available, Bernardo Silva is by far the most bang for the buck.
