I get that but don't understand why they so gladly accept 30M offer from Bayern if foreign clubs are willing to pay 40 or 50M. German clubs shouldn't just bend over for Bayern like that.
Well as I said, the players will normally block transfer to the highest bidder and instead join the team they prefer.
For the seller it's better to take the money (which isn't even that low tbf), than to let him leave for free the next year like it happened with Lewandowski.
Bayern is certainly more attractive to players than any PL club is at the moment, especially if mentioned palyers are actually german or just play in the league already. It would require Barca or Madrid to come knocking to convince them of other possible alternatives, but how often do you see the two actually bidding for such players? I always only read about

gladly accept these crazy 50m+ PL-offers, but that can't be finalised if the player isn't going to sign for them.
