He says he did, but I don't know how true it is, I recall Berlusconi saying he didn't as he wanted Nesta instead, but am not sure. I don't say loyalty either as he has for years extorted his club with wages they cannot afford, plus his commands in the dressing room (imagine the bad side of Raul x 1000)

The national team also I always felt he was pretty terrible actually, not sure about the WC team, but if he did its a joke as his only contribution was a pk against Australia.

However, as you may tell from now I really don't like the guy.

oryt cheers. How much wages does he get like?

yeah he was voted in the team of the tournament. just checked it. he was in Euro 2000 aswell.

yeah, most people ive spoke to who support teams in Serie A that arent Roma, HATE Totti..

Vieri was amazing man, his Inter goal record was amazing, like 100 goals in 150 appearances or something

He was a good goalscorer no doubt. But i just see the others on the list with a bit more quality.

he had 103 goals, in less than 150 games, not sure how many..

tbh, when i saw the name of the thread, i was sure he was in here since he was one of the best, but i was wrong...

If we talk talent wise, ronaldo is the best, one of the best in history of football for sure..

Include Bobo if you want, he wasn't nearly the best anyway so it makes no difference.

Bobo Vieri - fat Australian that waddled round various Serie A stadiums in the 90's.

i see Vieri the same way as i see Ruud, Very good goalscorer, one of the best at what he does, but was Ruud the best in the EPL? no, was Vieri the best in serie a? no.

Yeah if it is to include tap-in merchants who had a few seasons of good figures but not much else, then Luca Toni and Vincenzo Montella are still better than Bobo.

Fair enough, i still mantain all on that list are better than Vieri.

+ there werent that many world class strikers in the EPL at that time.
