After what I saw this season, I have my doubts that Cesc will take Xavi's place(and Pep too). It will be Thiago or Busi.

I didnt mean that Cesc would necessarily take over Xavis role on a 1-for-1 base. But Xavis departure will leave a gap in the midfield, that has to be filled somehow. Could even be a shared takeover of Xavis tasks by 2-3 players (Busi, Iniesta, Thiago and/or CESC).

Ronaldo? No. Just Marcelo, Xabi Alonso, Khedira, Pepe, Sergio Ramos and I think Arbeloa. Just all of madrid's defenders trying to get the ball, and failing.
I voted Cesc, he had a slightly more significant role this season. But Alexis had injury problems, only time will tell who will be the best of the 2.

As much as I like Sanchez, Cesc has always seemed better to me. Both get way too much unwarranted hate on this forum. Cesc was in real poor form second half last season, but still he always created chances. Inspite of a terrible miss in first leg vs Chelsea, he created chances for both Alexis and Messi which really should've been buried.
As far as bad luck Cesc goes, we're 16 points ahead of RM this season lmfao. He's also more clutch than Alexis in my opinion. Winning penalties vs Italy, Portugal. Assist in Euro and WC final.
