The way I understood it was Milan would pay Roma the €13M on behalf of Barca but if its true that €18M that was agreed I dunno who gets the other €5M

Definitely Roma. Basically all we had on him is a mandatory clause. That was canceled thankfuly with him moving to milan.
Nothing was cancelled. Barça still has to buy him back, if neither milan, nor roma, wants him.

as Bojan isn't a 40 million euro player. So Barcelona have paid 1 million euros to loan him out for 2 seasons :/

Roma gave Barca 12M euros in the meantime. So over 2 years that works out as an interest rate of less than 5%, so not too bad.

so if Milan want Bojan, they pay Barça €18m, and then Barça pay Roma €13m??? I don't get this. This makes no sense for Milan.

Roma have to pay another 28M to own him at which point they can keep any transfer fee for him if they sell him. Until that happens ultimately Barca own him. If Milan pay 18M, 13M goes to Roma and 5M to Barca.

I'm not sure but why do i feel this forum doesn't even care about this guy anymore?

Had anyone watched him play last night would have been a bit excited like i'm right now.

He'll be 23 next season and with Tello, Cuenca, Alexis, Villa, Afellay, Deulofeu and eventually Dongou in tow (Perhaps even Neymar) then I have no idea how/why Krkic would ever get a minute of playing time here any longer...I think he's even further away from the club now despite his contract calling for his buyback at €13 million (Net €1 million loss)

I can only assume that if he impresses enough at AC, then he'll be sold to them at some bargain price of €8-10 million (If we're lucky) or he'll be shipped elsewhere - although it sounds like he loves it there...I just don't see his return very likely any longer which contrasts to what I initially believed/hoped...I knew he was never going to be bought out completely as the terms of the initial deal made it extremely improbable (Unless he became a world class talent) but I assumed he'd get the seasoning he needed and come back with oodles of confidence & improved game...That doesn't look to be the case, far from it - he looks no better than when he was shipped out, still

And a cautionary tale for other cantera kids by the coaching staff, I'm sure...They won't rush anyone anymore into the first team unless they are uber ready

What kind of deal is this? Seriously why does Barca always get screwed when selling unwanted players.

It was a very shrewd deal actually...Sold for €12 million with a mandatory buyback if Roma didn't stump up an additional €28 million to keep him outright...The loan to AC has changed nothing, he'll still have to be bought back in 2013 - unless, a new deal (Probability quite high, I imagine) is made to keep him there permanently or move him elsewhere

yeah he played well when he came on  i would say he changed the game but Gasperini fucked it up for Palermo in all honesty, shame Milan have about ten strikers as i'd like him to have a run in the team.
