Yeah, I didn't have much faith in him after that last season at Barcelona and then the past 2 seasons on loan he just hasn't looked like a player who could offer much to this team

For the price yeah...I do think he wasn't given a fair crack by Pep after impressing (albeit in a dismal team) in Rijkaards last year. But still if rumoured 14 million euros fee is true, great bit of business.
Reason I say that fee is because that was around what it was when he went to Roma and I think Milan simply took the same deal as Roma had nd it just transferred over to them. Don't know for sure though.

I think Barca mentally ruined him I'm afraid, I think it's best that he gets a fresh start away and quite frankly he's not worth 14M, so if Milan are actually paying that, even better.

He's only 22 years old. At his age, Henry was a complete failure at Juventus and flopped on the big stage, after being hyped up at Clairfontaine and Monaco. Then he joined Arsenal and didn't score a single goal for 8 weeks. What about Drogba? He was in his mid 20's before stepping up and ripping the EPL apart.
There's every chance he'll make that step up, and this time next season there could be a lot of people here eating their words.
