Every time I watch Jo with Atlético mineiro, I don't understand how scolari chose him instead of Diego Costa...

Last call-up before the wc(only players that don't play in Brazil. 3 from the bra league will be called later). They'll play a friendly against South Africa in Johannesburg, March 5th:

Kaka, Robinho and Lucas(psg) out. Safe to say they won't make it to the wc.

He can use this as main XI:
Cesar
Alves-Dante-Silva-Marcelo(Felipe Luis?)
Paulinho-Fernandinho
Oscar-Willian
Hulk-Neymar
In this formation which is 4-2-2-2 every position has a back up. I think he'll stick to 4-5-1 though.

So what happened to Moura?

Kudos to Scolari for both Fernandinho & Willian being called up...Both could be important additions for the WC

Lucas Moura? He lost his spot to Bernard. He's showing with psg to not be a nt quality player.

Scolari said he could try Neymar as a 9, as Fred is injured and the other forwards might not be up to the task :VdB:

Hulk does question me the most, this guy is massively overrated and actually invicible in most of Brazil's games, also pretty selfish as well. Whenever either of Lucas or Bernard where used ahaid of him they did better than him. Scolari must have an obsession with this guy..

Hulk is strong, and useful to defend. Scolari is adept of defensive teams, so he really likes hulk for this.

Lucas Leiva is only a few weeks from full fitness so he'll have a few months to try and cement a place in the Brazil team.
