Fair enough, but it goes both ways. For instance, nobody talks about Neuer's challenge against Wolfsburg either, which was a clear red. Who knows whether the Lewandowski show would've happened then.
And I think it's perfectly right that the media blows up when a decision like the one against Augsburg happens. I don't remember Bayern getting denied or their opposition getting decisions in similar fashion.
A clear red when the opponent played on and was not denied a clear goal scoring chance? We can talk about yellow.
I do know why you might not remember so many of the denied decisions - like I told, they aren't made a big topic normally. And when Bayern wins a game by one or two goals there is no discussion that they might have been denied stuff.
Rode was denied a clear penalty in the Darmstadt match. Bayern won 3:0. Not all of the highlight shows showed the scene... If it would have happened on the other side of the pitch...
There were 2 or 3 as bad decisions as the Bayern penalty against Augsburg the same weekend. But - it is Bayern - and as about all football fans in Germany either love or hate the club it is interesting...
And if we talk about the ability of Dortmund to turn matches... Hoffenheim vs Dortmund was 14 to 10 shots - Bayern vs Augsburg was 27 to 4...
