What a dramatic end. BVB 2:2 Darmstadt, with Darmstadt equalizing in the 89th minute. :shakeshead:

Bayern fans are laughing like crazy right now. A week before the German Clasico at the Allianz, Bayern is leading BVB by 4 points already.

Well, only a little Schadenfreude, nothing more.

Mostly because they are so fekkin stupid to concede so late and that it was so close at all.
Individually, both teams are miles apart.

I don't know, Ryu. Both time I was at the Allianz when the game ticker came up showing whoever was playing against BVB scored on them, there was a deafening roaring applaud from the Allianz crowd. Not sure if this is the same at Signal-Iduna Park and other stadiums/venues in Germany?

Once again robbed by the referee. I'm not surprised.

Oh, pray tell how exactly have they been robbed this time?

@Luft: Well, the other way around? Often, yes, as Bayern is the most liked but also the most disliked club in Germany.
I suppose you were at the Allianz when many Bayern supporters were still a little sore that Dortmund managed to embarrass them two years in a row, which spurned a little antipathy. One or two years ago, I assume?

The first time was last November, the second time was this May. I will be there again to catch their game against Hertha Berlin on November 28th, we will see what happens. ;)

Dortmund have improved but will still drop points and afraid to say, Bayern will waltz to the league title again this season

If BVB loses the first leg of German Clasico a week from today, then Bayern will have a 7-point lead on them, which will be too much for BVB to overcome. That means the last piece of suspense of the Bundesliga (if there was any to begin with) will be gone.

By the way, Bayern will play their CL group game against Dinamo Zagreb at home on Tuesday and then will be lying comfortably waiting for BVB to come to town next Sunday. Meanwhile, BVB plays PAOK away in Greece in their EL group game next Thursday, and two days later they will have to travel to Munich to play Bayern. Tough luck, all odds are favoring Bayern to win.

I think the league needs to open for Investment and rich owners fast. Bayern can be champion next Week and it is not even funny anymore.

At this rate the TV Viewers will run away

The domestic German TV viewers will not though, they will stick with their home team regardless of how well Bayern does.

The problem is with Bundesliga exploring and establishing new markets and fans overseas, since this one-horse league status with so much predictability will not attract that many new fans abroad.

It will also affect viewers in germany. This boredoom is too strong to not affect normal viewers. Most people arent hardcore fans
