Like I say we will see. The long term effects haven't occurred yet but if Bayern keep dominating for the foreseeable there will be an adverse reaction
That concern is overrated. There is more to football than just the title race. Bundesliga these days is the fastest league among the top fives, aswell as having the most chances per match plus the most goals per match in average. There is Bayern and then there are 17 almost equal teams that can beat each other at any time (just my team cant beat anyone at this point). Matches of midtable teams are highly interesting and quickly turn into spectacles and thrillers, teams like Gladbach, Hamburg or Dortmund can quickly fall from CL-spots into relegation fights or reversed. Bayern is basically the only constant in this league, the rest is pretty much a lottery with all sort of crazy shit happening.
The regulations that the DFB has created in this competition are made to favour the fans, who are viewed as the biggest assets in german football.
The fans wouldnt betray the clubs, just because someone said that the title race has been boring lately.
