For the sake of bundesliga, get rid of this 50+1 rule.

Yea u get Oil Owner, but due FFP they are limited. Or do u want to see bayern winning 20 years. U can complain about Oil Owner but because of that the Premier League is the most exciting

Raising competitiveness of the BuLi, especially in the international regard would indeed be a desirable goal. But to be honest, the 50 + 1 rule doesn't need to be abolished mostly because it has so many loopholes every club could use right now to get investors on board. The reason clubs don't take advantage of these loopholes is another story, but it has a lot to do with the outright hostile stance german club functionaries take towards foreign capital involvement, probably because they fear that their heads would be the first to roll. Also, the lack of legal certainty for the investors and possible fan reactions act a part there.

So in a nutshell, BuLi could be more competitive if club representatives really wanted it to be, despite 50 + 1.

Blaming 50+1 or not, that already wide gap between Bayern and the rest of the Buli teams will be even bigger in the coming years without substantial investment and commitment from the investors.

Does Volkswagen have any ambitious plan to inject some serious money into Wolfsburg? How about Bayer? Red Bull? How is Red Bull Leipzig doing? Any chances of them getting promoted to the 1st division?

I thought you were a Bayern fan

yea but u cant deny that bayern rules the German League , I have atleast that sense. Every other Teams praise them before the season has even started, Manager says 4:0 lose is a good result against bayern. I mean wtf if u say that in Premier League , u will be sacked.

There is something wrong in the League, even bayern supporter agrees.

@above, no competetion in the next 6 Years

Probably not since UEFA just forced VFL to submit their balance sheets because of a alleged violation of FFP rules.

Not too bad, but will probably still take at least a year till they make it into the Bundesliga, although they might make it even this year, but they will need to improve even further during the winter break to tackle that objective successfully.

I'm fairly optimistic for Leipzig since some players from Red Bull Salzburg will join them during the winter break. Would be a waste if they don't achieve promotion.

I really do hope that teams like Hoffenheim, Leipzig, Leverkusen and Wolfsburg start to be real top clubs instead of just moving between mid table and higher. I wouldn't want to see Mainz fail in Europa League again, or with due respect, Augsburg in the Champions League. Shit like that makes people think that the German league is a joke.

50+1 rule should absolutely not be abolished. The German league is fine as it is and is getting stronger every year.
Bayern is on top because they had started to build a legacy in 70s before Uli Hoeneß came in charge and did pretty much everything well. Financial wise and sports wise. Patience and financial stability pays off after all.

Since there is FFP, Volkswagen can't really open their treasure chest. At least until Wolfsburg actually achieve something in Europe.

1. Leverkusen can't win anything since they are...Leverkusen.
2. I would not like to see these clubs (Hoffenheim....) rise over the clubs who have tradition.
