Camp Nou

It was in the Bernabeu in 1982, so likely be there again. I can't imagine Portugal (no stadium big enough anyway) or Morocco hosting the final over Spain - Spain is the flagship country for the tournament, same as USA is in 2026.

The decision for a final venue will be a political one. IMO Camp Nou has very little chance to be the pick, semi-final - yes. Bernabeu is front runner. Keep in mind Spain NT has not played at Camp Nou since the 80's.

Football romantism would say Centenario stadium in Montevideo is fitting for the 100 year final. There are plans to renovate the stadium to modern standards.

Indeed. However, the three South American stadia are just for the first few games of the tournament. It would be cool if the final went back to Uruguay but flying from Europe to Uruguay over four or five days would see outrage from fans and people within the game, most likely. It's bad enough at the start of the tournament.

115k stadium. But last time I was in Morocco they managed to fit 8 people in the back of a taxi, so I'm sure they could get 150k in there.
Taxis in morocco are two types.. big ones are like a shared cab basically. 6 people who are taking the same itinerary (u leave when u want ). The small ones are regular 1 person / meter and usually operates whitin the same city. Those measures are necessary for modest economies. + morocco transportation infrastructure and system is number 1 in Africa.

Since when is it allowed to work on Saturdays again? The livestream shows workers and moving cranes. A surprise, but a welcome one.

I have been saying this for more than a year, it's now getting obvious to everyone. We can be happy if our first match at CN will be Gamper in August.

The problem is Laporta planned the extra money from returning to CN for this season so more problem for FFP. Another lever it is...

I called it a month ago. Let's be realistic here - we milked the situation with Camp Nou 100% to get the Nike deal. Now we can delay, there's no rush until elections of 2026.

No chance to prepare the infrastructure, VIP, stores, locker rooms, stands and overall safety by February while cranes, construction, dust and mud are everywhere around. I already raised my concerns on pitch maintanance.

I agree with @TheStig, summer break and Gamper are plausible period to move to Camp Nou. And not in full capacity.

Never thought it would have been possible in February'ish. Just go all in and finish up as much as possible until LL starts after the summer break.
