Yes. He also lost his first 2 clasicos, before getting it right. Finished 3rd in the league. Won cl and cdr, but cups were always his specialty. But if ramos hadn't tied that final, he'd be jobless. Football is funny that way.

He lost Oezil, Xabi, Di Maria yet he still coped well. The point is, he had to work with whoever Perez gave him and he did exceptionally well.

I don't think it was that close. We played much better last year. Iniesta alone was on a different level. So was Messi. And Tata Martino is a better coach.

He is a great manager, no doubt about that, but just three league titles in 16 years is really poor for someone who is supposed to be the best. Although, that's also the only thing anyone can hold against him. Really impressive how he can make RM work like a team with the players they have.
