Carlo Ancelotti

nah, Simeone gets more with much less talent. Though its impressive that he has made RM click so quickly this year i still rate Simeone and Pep above him right now.

The fact that a coach does wonder with less talent, does not automatically mean that he'll do even better with better talent. There are problems too when working with many star players. And Ancelotti, unlike Jose Mourinho or even Pep, is the best at managing star players and making them work together. He is the best.

Mentioned couple of times that playing without a proper dm works if you have a cohesive and hard working team. In comparison, Barca basically plays with one man less as Busquets is next to useless both defensively and offensively.
Carlo is a great manager.

Good thing you called out Busquets who I have noticed to drop in form for the past 1.5 years a long with Iniesta. However, Busi was your best player in the first half, but he is no where near his level. Or maybe he is just neutralized.

He lost Oezil, Xabi, Di Maria yet he still coped well. The point is, he had to work with whoever Perez gave him and he did exceptionally well.

He also purchased good players all along. The trick for any coach at Madrid was to convince all players to conform to a system. The 4 4 2 in defense for Ancelotti is brilliant, only when the team sacrifices itself for the that system. So far, when the players stood in the proper position in the proper line, it has stopped Bayern, Dortmund, Barca, Atletico Madrid, and can potentially take out Chelsea.

Honestly, Balotelli was fine at City. He wasn't a bad player by any means at that time, so it's logical Carlo would consider him.

And who knows, maybe he could have gotten something positive out of him.

I actually think Seedorf managed to get something decent out of Balotelli last season, but well, he got sacked for political and personal reasons so...

He's won just 3 League titles in nearly 20 years of management despite managing heavyweights such as PSG, Juventus, Chelsea, Milan and Madrid for nearly all of it. Great manager my arse.
