if valencia can score 27 in his 1st 3 seasons with us then he'll be doing just what ronaldo did, i think he might manage that, but we'll see.

If Valencia scores 27 goals in his first 3 seasons (I doubt he'd be in manure in 3 seasons time anyroad. But if he is then I would be AMAZED if he scores that amount of goals. I think 4 a season ie a dozen in total is about right.

I dunno mate he was in a very defensive team last year and still scored that amount(or around it) and i think he could nearly double it this season!If he doesn't so be it he will get more assits then Ronaldo did thus offering us something diffrent and i think that is why we signed Micheal Owen because without Ronaldo in the team i think we will be putting in alot more crosses and we needed a predator in the box!

Still think you need 2 more players to replace the goals. Say for instance Valencia gets 6 a season and Owen gets 10. You still need another 25 or so to just replace CR's goal tally really.

Valencia is a good player but will he get more assists than Ronaldo? depends how he fits in really.

Alas I also think you need a central midfielder if you go back to traditional 442 as I am sorry but I think that central midfield would get gangbanged by top clubs. Last season you had 3 in the middle meaning you had more power there. But if you go back to traditional 442 for my money you will need a powerful centre mid alongside carrick or hargreaves or Fletcher. That is why I continue to say Paul Scholes will be the hardest player to replace.
