I dont think any Cules wouldnt want Fabregas at Barca, they just dont want him for 40+ millio. English players are overpriced insanely and sure he would be great at Barca but if it means possibly losing Thiago and 40+ million then i dont think we should even go near Fabregas.

You romantic fools! 46 to 14 in favour of Thiago.

You've all got to remember that Fabregas simply came to be at the wrong time, moving to Arsenal was 100% the correct decision for him and his development. Thiago on the other hand seems to be coming along at almost the exact right time and will no doubt improve as he moves into the senior set-up on a full-time basis. Therefore, forgetting the money issue, it's not fair to simply push the idea of Fabregas returning to us aside when he is good enough (our players, coaches and board agree) and wants the move to happen - He is perhaps the most ideal signing we can make at the moment if you consider all angles.

This said, like someone else pointed out, (the specfic question of this poll isn't phrased the best) no one can replace Xavi and we are likely to have both fabregas and Thiago playing alongside eachother.

I wonder who is being romantic fool here... I'm pretty sure all those people who voted for Thiago would do the same even if the poll was between him and any other midfielder out there... Fabregas, Pastore, Hamsik, Sahin, etc are all the same, young but proven midfielders. But still all would lose the battle to Thiago.

Be happy the fans here are preferring the budding youth to a poster boy signing

I voted for Thiago but I'm not convinced.

This is a big issue for our club, if we needed a replacement for Xavi in the next season I'd say that we have to buy Cesc. But we all know that Xavi still has a couple of years of playing at the top level left so I think it would be a shame if both Thiago and Cesc were staying on the bench for a couple of years. I would wait that Cesc's contract with Arsenal expires and that Xavi ends his career (I assume both will happen approximately at the same time). Then we'll have Iniesta, Thiago and Cesc rotating for the 2 two places in the midfield (Busquets will be our DM for the next 10 years).

I like Fabregas, but Arse Wenger is an arse who want arse money for him and I wouldn't get arsed to pay that arse money to a club like Arse nal.

So yeah,
Thiago FTW

I dont like taking risks, hence i want to get Cesc in. I still have high hopes for Thiago though.

Btw, this common Anti-Cesc attitude can be seen at other clubs too. Very much reminds me of the Anti-Neuer campaign of some of the (ultra-) supporters at Bayern. Similarly idiotic to have antipathy towards another club (where the playerin question currently is) heavily influence the decision-making, turning that 'argument' against him. Thats just too irrational and unobjective for me ...
