Xavi, Puyol, Iniesta, Messi, Valdes, Samper, Thiago, Deulofeu, etc...The list continues to go on

You're remembering what you want to, not what actually happened...He did little publicly to push for the transfer out of respect to Arsene & the Gunners despite knowing Barcelona would have to pay millions to get him back after being poached for a pittance.

He's had his incidents in England that have earned him rebuke...Who said it was speculation to merely get attention?...I've pointed out he has always taken the sheepish & indirect way to get what he wants, that's cowardice IMO

Loyalty & Cesc are incompatible, no point in trying to pass that off on him

Again, comparing Cesc to all the other greats isn't comparable. They got chances in the first team, he didn't. I don't hear people questioning Piqué's loyalty just bc he had a spell at UTD.

I'm not sure why you think he's so disloyal just bc he wanted first team football to develop his skills. Another example is Alba. Put yourself in your shoes when you were 16. You are not very patient when you're a teenager, so again any player with his quality as a teenager would jump on the chance for first team football.

If you're really that bitter over the move, if your going to blame anyone, Arsenal were the main culprits. It was sleazy but it was smart.

What makes you think he won't stay here for the rest of his career?

We didn't pay a fortune to get Gerard back and Piqué didn't do anything in a spineless way - everything he did, he did directly

Know your club history...For one, Cesc left via poaching, not the same thing as being sold ala Thiago - he went out the back door...Alba, didn't leave, he was let go...In fact, the mere fact that he showed resolve to come back underscores how much he wanted to succeed at his boyhood club...He never wanted to leave

Must've missed the part where Wenger kidnapped him and flew him to London...And if there was loyalty etc. for the club, where was his attempts to bring the fee down by being vocal about a return...He went silent

I don't know what he will do, I can only go by what he has done to predict his future behaviour...And that would suggest a sheepish exit were he to leave or made redundant

It doesn't matter if Cesc is or was loyal to us, he plays for us now and deserves our full support. The same goes for Alexis and Pedro.
I know we joke around sometimes about Alexis but when it gets serious we should support our guys no matter what, and these discussions about Cesc being loyal to us several years ago or now are pointless..

That's exactly what I'm thinking. I like to move on and forget the past, obviously you must be wary and know he could do something similar again, but for now things are fine and we should support him. It's like that quote "forgive your enemies but remember their names".

The arguments over who was disloyal and loyal and whether Piqué did the right thing or not or whether Thiago did this or that is pointless.
