Iniesta/Xavi/Sanchez/Pedro have all been worse in second half of season. Even Messi has.
Stats are often used to back up Cesc being so poor in second half yet over the past three seasons he has more goals/assists after xmas than Iniesta for example.

Doesnt have to be a strict pivot. Not all teams with a AM play two sitting midfielders. Most often they have a DM and another player that lookds to be a go between and cover ground, keep game ticking etc.

The statistics do not always tell the right story. If it was not for Cesc we wouldn't have been in the la liga race until the end. Again, his decline in second halfs of season is incredible. His goal/assist performance should not be compared to Iniesta's, as Iniesta was never a heavily scoring attacking midfielder anyway. Iniestas dribblings, his passes etc. Even though not directly linked to goals, are not always found in basic football stats!
This board will make things worse by selling good players for cheap and buying average overpriced players!

First nearly everyone wants him out, now you're complaining about the transfer fee, next you'll complaining about not getting Koke, but an overpriced and overhyped replacement and then you'll complain about whoever he is, because he won't be better than Cesc. This will be even more rediculous than all of you starting to use Real Madrid avatars on a Barca forum...

Only 33m? If not pounds, zubinepto in full throttle. In a world mata is 45m and ozil 50m, Cesc can't be only 33m.
