He doesnt appear to me as if he ever had a romantic bond or anything towards Barca. I dont think he'd consider a move to Madrid as "betrayal" and I also dont think many Barca fans actually care that he goes there. He's barely able to clean Modric & Kroos boots.

I think that his bond/love for Barca diminished greatly after the failed stint here and especially with us winning a treble right after he leaves. I'll never forget the hype to get him here and the Barca DNA crap Xavi/Puyi tried to spin. The idea was nice in hindsight but now thought the club a good lesson that not everyone from La Masia needs to come back.

I do agree that I don't care if he goes to Madrid. Not like he'd start over Kroos or Modric.

Total nonsense. He forced the move out of Arsenal where he was on his way to become club legend to return to us.

Well, came on as a substitute in our hour of need and provided the pass that we had been so sorely missing that entire match, which lead to Diego Costa scoring. With an impact like that Conte probably won't sell him just yet.

Fabregas' future has been the subject of much speculation after Conte elected to pick Oscar ahead of him against West Ham and Watford, but his introduction in place of Nemanja Matic was greeted by a huge cheer from the travelling Chelsea supporters, and after the match Conte admitted that the Spaniard's performance has given him a decision to make for the matches to come.

"We all know Cesc is a great player with a great technique and a good pass," Conte said. "I made the substitution because in that moment I wanted more quality and I saw that Watford were thinking only to defend their goal.

"But I'm pleased for his attitude because Cesc is working very hard during the training sessions to show me that he deserves to play. I want to see this from all the players -- show me they deserve to start the game.

"If I see this attitude and commitment I'm a very happy manager, because when you have many players that think for the team and not themselves it's important. I see in this situation happening in Chelsea and it's good."

You could make a video like that that would make Mata look top class last season too, but it wouldn't change the fact that he's a passenger off the ball. Fabregas was a liability at times last season, the guy can barely cover the ground any more.

To be honest, I love watching player comps but the only purpose of these is either entertainment or just as a teaser, when you scout a rather unknown player and you just want to get a rough idea on what he plays and looks like. But they give absolutely no hint on how bad or good a player has performed in a certain campaign.
