Mancio is half the coach that Mourinho is and this has already been evident by the purchase that he made for Patrick Vieira (out of everyone). Mancio won those titles without a challenge but this season, Juve broke the bank to compete with Inter whilst Inter made a profit on transfers and still Mourinho is the king of the hill.

Avram Grant failed to win the EPL with essentially the same squad. So did Scolari. And Ancelotti also had his fair share of crap form. Mourinho will get you the title if you get him what he needs. Its simple. He is an efficient man that we in the engineering community admire.

Mark Hughes spent big for Man City.... see where that took "Britain's Next Best Coach" to...

So if Mancio is half the coach Mourinho is

And he won the exact same titles as Mourinho but playing a lot better

don't we conclude that Mourinho is indeed a CRAP manager by your own admission ;)

thank you for making a closure on your debate .. that was piss easy .

and Vieira is free so i don't know how you can take it against him , Vieira is experienced a leader and know Mancini well something he needed but what do we know..

oh yes Inter made a profit in the transfer market ? how exactly by selective memory ?
they bought Motta,Milito,Lucio ,Marika and Sneijder while they sold Ibra.. won't mention the dudes the Austrian dude

however while you are it .. how is Muntari ,Quarsema & Mancini brilliance ?

how much did Mourinho spend in his time @ Inter winning the exact same trophies like Mancio?
Militio
Motta
Mancini
Quaresma
Muntari
Lucio
Sneijder
that Austrian dude
.. forget the freebies like Eto'o and Pandev ..
did i forget anyone ?
you will see Inter hardly made a profit

forgot to add Avram lost in the last minute of the league but at least he took Chelsea further than Mourinho in Europe with the SAME SQUAD .. which adds to the fact that Mourinho is just more an urban legend than a great tactician ...

All you can say about Mourinho is that he's effective (I don't care about his off field antics, that's a smoke screen). At every club he's managed he's enjoyed resources far beyond those of his domestic rivals leaving him in a position where he could play conservative, unadventurous football and still succeed. Fair play for the CL in 2004 but there was a massive amount of luck involved and he's lived off that one success ever since.

Oh come on Gio. Dont make it so easy for me.

This season

Milito + Motta = 25 m
Eto'o = 0 m
Lucio = 5 m m
Sneijder = 15 m
Austrian dude (Arnautovic) = 0 m
Mariga = 3 m

Out

Ibra = 45 m
Maxwell = 5 m

Profit = 2 m
----------------------

Thats good business.

And secondly, Muntari has been a brilliant acquisition for Inter. He is like the Essien type player that Mourinho always needs and is in love with. Quaresma and Mancini failed.

But Mancini's transfers were horrendous
Suazo, Vieira, Jimenez, Dacourt, Rivas,

I simply adore your selective memory in debates

how about Meggiorini, Acquafresca, Bonucci and Bolzoni who moved to Genoa as part of the deal ? they have zero value ?

and Sneijder is 15 + 3 variables = 18 Million

so your figure is actually -1 Million without taking into consideration the value of the 4 players who moved to Genoa

same for Mariga .. players involved moved to Parma as part of the deal ...

Muntari is a very poor man Essien , he is a crap player

And Mancio didn't cost Moratti half what Mourinho cost him ...

last year the duet of Mancini & Quaresma was about 40 Million thrown in the trash can

but nice to remember Dacourt and forget Figo,Samuel,Ibra ..etc

He surely didn't say that? That is far too controversial.

Funny though.

It did not end the way Beast described it. Valdano said that in order for Benitez and Mourinho to have succeeded as football players they needed a coach just like them.

Would you rather have Inter rely on Acquafresca to be your scorer or Milito?

He added quality to Inter's squad that was lacking and got rid of young guys who might/might not make it.

My Bad... it shouldnt say 45m... it should say 49m. So we are still up by 3m. The source itself is an Inter Board whose link I cannot post without getting a warning. However this is their list of transfers.

The problem with Inter's Mourinho is that he is trying to hold back very attacking minded players, ones who love to just go at it. It is like he confuses his own players, he instills this great inspiration and self esteem yet takes it away by having them be defensive. The players love to run at goal, always been Inter's way (unsuccessful but very entertaining). When the team was tied, did you see how excited they got to get the second? I love this about this Inter, but Mourinho needs to explore his team's capabilities more. Although if it works, then let it be for now.

Cambiasso is the man of the match to be honest, he was all over the place. Inter's running off the ball to close Chelsea down was superb although ball control and passing was garbage.

Mario got a scolding for not going back and chasing the ball when he loses it, he still does it again. What a twat.

Also Gio... I should have mentioned this... Mancio is half the coach that Mourinho is because Mancio got stroked by Stoke.

I thought it was most amusing that when chelsea came up against a side they couldn't bully (specifically, CB's that drogba couldn't bully) they looked rather ordinary and pedestrian.

to be fair, jose always starts defensive and becomes more adventurous with his teams as time passes. he was doing this with chelsea when abramovich bought him sheva instead of eto'o which fucked his whole plan up. he'll get there with inter. certainly he showed signs of it here today, adjusting and bringing on attackers constantly. had samu scored that second you may have seen him unleash hell coz chelsea were there for the taking. john terry is an awful defender. lucio really gave him a lesson today.

anyway, chuco was indeed MOTM. he's a phenomenal player.

Sneijder deal is 15 + 3 variables , whether Inter decided to post the 15 only it's their mistake Real will still get the 3 Mil based on his appearances and trophies

nice to see Ibra cost Barca 49 Million .. tell it to Laporta who insist it's less

however you still didn't count for the out part players as part of the deal.. their value isn't zero and if you average them 3 / 2 Mil a player although Acquafresca should be a little higher you will see Inter made a loss in the market not a plus

Yes i'd rather give a chance to a promising Acquafresca than bank on 2 29'ish year old forwards but we are not questioning X or Y importance but your wild and inaccurate statement that Inter made a profit ..
needless to say a year before it Inter paid almost 50 Million on players he didn't use any except Muntari

Looking at the two starting XIs on paper there was every chance of Inter overcoming Chelski, especially given that they have the manager who built this chelsea side. Chelski really don't have any form of creativity in the middle of the park so they were reduced to slinging balls into the box for Dogbag and shooting from distance. They were lucky in the end that Julio Cesar made a rare error to give them the away goal. The second leg will be very interesting, I think there's every chance of the tie going to extra time but I fancy Inter to win it in 90 minutes
