How is that a group of death? Man City is still a somewhat inconsistent performer, even though if they'll get their game together they might surprise us (don't see this happening though). Both Ajax and Dortmund will get fisted by RM.

Champions of Spain, England, Germany, Holland.

Remember that Dortmund beat Bayern ( who beat Rm) in the Pokal final and to the german league. Ajax gave Man U a run for their money and City has performed well in the big games, excluding CL.

That's all great and cheery, but in real world that's not exactly how it works, now does it?

The fact that Dortmund beat Bayern, means nothing when Dortmund is going to play Real Madrid. The same goes for your ManU v. Ajax example.

If team A lost to team B, which in turn got beat by team C, it doesn't mean that team A wouldn't still pummel team C to pulp. That's would be a too much simple of a conclusion.

In fact, I think that Dortmund and Ajax will be of no match for RM, given RM gets itself going with all the guns blazing.

This is what the schedule of RM and Barca looks like. Don't like that we have to face Benfica away just before we host madrid at home while they would have faced Ajax before vising us. Wish it was Man city instead!

I live in Glasgow! What are the chances off getting tickets for the Barcelona end for the Celtic game? Anyone have experience trying to get tickets for Barcelona away in the champions league? What's the best way to go about it? Cheeeers
From what I've heard it's difficult... but I guess it depends on the opposition. Group games should be easier

To hell with Fifa!
I wanted Barça to face Braga, not Benfica.

Braga is 40 km distant of my home, i would be there to see Barça for the first time.
Seems that i will only seem them against Celta de Vigo if i get a ticket.

Don't know exactly where you live but the distance from Braga is 360 KM and that's not far! Seeing Xavi, Messi, Iniesta against a worthy opponent like Benfica in a champions league match is priceless. you should be there!

I think Dortmund is going to surprise a lot of people. They have a quality team right now. They struggled last CL because they were still trying to fill the void Sahin left plus their star striker Barrios was out. Gotze was also injured a few times. And they were also playing in every competition. Now that their team is a lot more settled and having come off the german double AND signing Reus they should be primed to go. Though their group is pretty damn tough lol. But I think they can finish top 2 for sure.

Madrid have a huge advantage this year in the CL. With nothing to play for in La Liga they can focus all their energies on Europe.

?? It's only a 5 point gap and it's the very beginning of the season. A lot of things can happen...
