PK was unavoidable Nasri was going for the goal so it's a correct call from the ref
but damn it City... Dortmund should have been winning 3-4 goals at least.. Hart was great from the highlights i saw

Funny thing is that the highlights I saw showed City to have plenty of chances. LOL!

Dortmund were strong and performed better overall but in that first half Dortmund's keeper was called to action as much if not more than Hart. (Zabaleta, Aguero x2, Silva jump kick). Where are you getting this 3x more chances from? From UEFA:

Attempts on target: City 10; Dortmund 12
Dangerous attacks: City 28; Dortmund 32
Good Chances: City 2; Dortmund 4
Corners: City 5; Dortmund 6

That doesn't spell domination but to be fair I did see more energy/intent from ze Germans.

Dortmund were terrific (fans/colors/atmosphere AWAY/etc) and I like their 'wave after wave' approach on attack and '4-5-1' on defense which suffocated Silva/Toure out the game at times, but had City finished their chances, they could have come away with 3 points just as well. Immense display from both keepers was the difference for me.

Deserved tie although maybe a little harsh on the handball. The ref had no choice but to call it.

The highlights I saw was closer to this description than most people's comments on here saying City were absolutely undeserving of the goal.

Villarato!

Lavezzi has been subbed on in 73rd and off in 80th being replaced by Pastore. The guy seems to be thinking too high of himself.

And when I said Dortmund are a better team than City people raised eyebrows.

Dortmund aren't necessarily the better team player by player. The difference is that one team is full of hungry youngstars which kept running and hustling and pressing and closing down and working their asses off throughout the 90 minutes (Götze had to be subbed out because he could barely stand on his feet after 87 minutes). Whereas the other team is full of overpaid Premier League plastic celebrity players coached by a tactically inempt numpty. It was hilarious how there was a short sequence when Mancini went with a 3 man backline, conceded like 20 chances in 10 minutes and cluelessly told them to go back to 4 at the back after that. If you can't properly build from the back from your own half it's down to the manager. Not down to proven world class players like Yaya Toure, Kompany, Silva, Agüero etc.

However the highlight of the game was Gary Neville with his annoying voice (thanks for that stream by the way, xaviniesta, why did you do this to me :D) trying to argue how Zabaleta was world class because he managed a simple cross at one point while the champions of England were getting battered in their own back yard.

That's just it. People read the names here, read the names there, and compare. And it's a no-brainier City is better, right? Happens all the time. And let's not get into the fact some of those people never watch anything outside EPL and get constantly brainwashed by media.

Football is a team sport and it's what you do on the field that counts, not the names you have.

And then.. that atmosphere. When you watch it in their home games you get so used to it and now when you see it in contrast to City fans it really makes it stand out.

Lavezzi is a piece of shit. He should NEVER be called up to Argentina again. He and Tevez are a cancer to the team that keeps holding Messi back. Aguero and Higuain >>>>>>>>Tevez and Lavezzi.

Not just that, their teamwork is excellent. Players know where other players are going to be, anticipation of overlapping runs, etc. That understanding is consistent throughout the game and across the pitch, and improving. Everyone is on the same plan- simply not true of many teams with celebrity players.

How is the team holding Messi back? He's part of the team, he takes equal share of Argentina's failures and achievements.

And I'd be pissed if I was Lavezzi. Getting subbed in then subbed out in less than 10 minutes would make anybody angry.

Lavezzi and Tevez missed an absurd amount of chances that Messi handed to them on a silver platter at Copa America 2011.

Wouldn't mind having Klopp as Barca manager one day. They consistently play their game no matter the opponent, home or away.

Yeah I agree. Klopp was one of the names that came to my mind once Pep retired but Tito was the more safer option (and I don't have any problem with Tito and wish him all the success).
