didnt see the penalty situation but the earlier one was offside by a boot. they showed it with this 3d graphcis. he got it right but was really really close one. but seriously if city wanted to progress this group they really should let this be final minutes against ajax at their home


mancini really sucks and lost it when he went to complain with the refs at the end. poor loser.

Officials got both decisions right, I think. Not that it looked that way at the time, but Kolarov was offside and Balotelli was guilty of the old six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Let's give maximum credit here, that's top drawer officiating. Hopefully it will be seen that way by the press tomorrow morning.

So far Malaga and Porto are through to the knockout stages. That leaves 14 spots open. Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, PSG, Manchester United, and Real Madrid are all but qualified. Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and 2 of Chelsea/Shaktar/Juventus will probably qualify. Is it me or does this seem like it could be one of the best knockout stages in years?
