I guess we have to wait a couple years before someone comes up with a comprehensive solution to this antifootball nonsense.

Well, maybe some changes to the rules of the game to help encourage attacking and discourage camping and fouling.

Team fouls, like in basketball. After a certain number, some reward to the fouled team, and/or some penalty to the fouling team.

Can't see implementation any versions of the 3-second rule (penalizing camping) and 24-second clock (penalizing possession)- just too difficult on a soccer pitch.

Possibly some reward for the most attacking team in the first half- team with most shots on goal in 1st half gets an extra (4th) sub.

Maybe some scoring (fractions of a point) to reward attacking play, in case of draws (i.e. +0.25 points for most shots on goal, -0.25 points for most fouls committed, etc.).

If you cant see the difference between the way Chelsea play and the way west ham played then i dont know what to say!

I watched both games, the tactics differ slightly but the message is the same. Don't play to win, just put everyone behind the ball. Poor Torres deserves better, he wasn't given a chance tonight.

Because Bayern always bottles it in finals against english teams.

Pretty small sample size unless I am leaving out some.

I agree but it would have to be well thought of and carefully over a few years. Many Opinions from around the world would be advisable (Except from Chelsea fans)

Nice ideas but honestly they are not even worth discussing. Those in charge of football refuse to embrace new technology so getting them to embrace new rules is a pipe dream.

I guess there is the one in the 80s vs Aston Villa and then in '99 vs Man U, and lastly vs Chelsea in 2012 but Bayern are not slouches this season at all. Regardless Chelsea dont have it easy in the second leg other than being at home

If A.Madrid win they progress

If they draw they still progress ex. 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, etc....

If Chelsea win they progress

Danger Ahead
Diego Costa is a strong number 9, but as you see even this tactic didn't work against parked buses, so we don't need a new Ibra. ;)

Our tactics to keep the ball on the ground and look for open spaces perhaps is better choice after all.

And it's not only Costa, they also tried long range shots, Diego Ribas had like 6 shots from outside the box and nothing.
