Am I the only one who thinks Schalke have an awesome squad? Their starting 11 is quite impressive

Yeah, on paper they are (except for defence), but this season they have been very unlucky with injuries pestering them, similar to Dortmund.

The only disgraceful thing was Hypiaäs' 'explanation' why the lost, namely the ref and also because PSG scored too early.

Other than that, Vizekusen got their asses handed to PSG and that's about it; no one in their right mind expected them to go through anyway.

1-5 against United at home and 0-4 against PSG at home - yes, that IS a disgrace.
I'm not saying they should have won 3-0, but getting destroyed yet again on their home turf, that's just pathetic and embarrassing.

Recent Rudi Völler comments come to mind when he told the press that "Leverkusen would lead the table in every other league."

He's just too damn funny.

I think it must be something psychologically. On paper, they actually should put up some level of fight and resistance against the big names, cause let's be honest, they got a couple of decent players in their squad. But as soon as a big international team comes knocking, they collectively shit their pants and bend over. Once could be coincidence, but twice and more (let's not forget te hammerings they received in the CL last 16 in previous seasons - post-Ballack)? That's method to the madness.

I agree. Plus they are in bad form since the second half of the season started. I'd normally point the finger on Hypiaä, but they sucked on the top stage under Dutt too so I guess the problems run deeper at this point.

Edit: Maybe they need a coach who knows how titles are won, or at least someone with more experience to guide these players.

You will struggle against them, trust me. ;)

I don't expect them to roll over and die either ;)
But at the same time, statements like your initial one bug me too. I'm jsut tired of some Arsenal pricks on other websites, who still imagine things about that 2-0 last season. ;)

I hate these Bayern fans' confidence, too annoying

Yeah, you go ahead and read into my statement whatever you please.

It's anybodys guess what's going to happen tonight, should be a good couple games though, I'm pessemistic about Milan though because our attack doesn't function well as Balotelli isn't ready to be the CF yet. his movement is just not up to scratch and it hinders those behind him, especially Kaka, we look alot, lot more threatening with Pazzini in the line up, as he moves well. We are going to be hurt on the break.

Oh well, Forza Clarence!
