Honestly, the cup and league is a bigger achievement than the CL. It's pathetic that Real Madrid are part of 3 competitions every year, but the only one that matters to people is the CL. It's a cup competition, it's far from perfect. You can fluke it like Chelsea in 2012 etc. If you win the CL and not the league, you're not really best in your own country even. Barca won the league + CL together every time, something Real only did 3 out of 12 times.

It would be the case if they had same covered distance stats as barca and have such results, but its not the case, they match opponent intensity and with such talented squad they will always benefit
