Ikr I wonder who said that?Pretty mediocre or average team compared to others, but class manager.
At Barca the role is reversed tbh.
At least I'm not saying Franck Kessie is a better player than Frenkie de Jong though. Now that would be embarrassing I tell ya.
Damn why so mad. Maybe don't say stuff like Kessie is better or could be better for Barca than Frenkie next time then.
At least you're not having a rant about father figures or some shit like that like you had a while back though.
What? You want me to be your father figure? I'm too young for that no kids yet.
Jamdav is more your daddy.
Just take the L on your idiotic comment and move on.
Mediocre Team made it to the CL final.
Only 1 good team is in the CL SF with Barca forum logic
Madrid lucky as shit
Inter lucky and shit.
Milan ( well they are actually pretty poor haha).
Inter isn't mediocre, they are a solid team, and tactically very well organised.
We have to take inspiration from that. If anything, the fact they look so good playing with guys like Dzeko, Darmian, Calhanoglu, Mkhyitarian just shows that you can make a lot work in the right setup.
We have people here who actually claim the likes of Pedri are not good enough for CL knockouts whilst that Inter team is making it to the finals.
We are more than good enough, we are better than them, and I'm convinced one of the only things holding us back is this bollocks quitter mentality (mainly from the club and fans) that whenever it comes to Europe we just have an inferior squad and can't do it. Bullshit. Xavi too is more than capable of competing with top coaches if he gets rid of his Euro mental block and excuse factor.
I see it completely the opposite.Tired of RM still churning out wins in CL despite turgid play...but I honestly don't see how Inter can beat them if City fail to do the job at home.
A team like Inter is the kind of team RM tends to feast on (Juve, AM types).
Also, if Pep chokes this at home (unlikely, he is beast in CL at home), he really can't get it done without Messi, Xavi, Iniesta in Europe. I don't like reductionist takes, but after having strong squads for 10 years and failing repeatedly, it's tough to defend him in CL
I see it completely the opposite.
Inter has the tactical setup to beat Madrid but they have something else too, a team which plays without fear and an extremely good cup manager. They have heart and grit as well as class and tactical strength.
Madrid aren't that good this season and tired of people acting like it's the same as their three peat years.
Let it be known - I pick Inter to win in an Inter Madrid final, book it!!
I would really note something : generally, trends with managers as it refers to league play/knockout games tend to stay true over time and repeat themselves.Next season is it for Xavi.
Not expecting to win the CL, but should be able to compete much better, especially if we're able to improve the squad this summer.
No more excuses. Another disastrous showing in Europe and he should be gone. Especially considering the amount of power he has on the sporting management side.
