Sandro Tonali being such a hardcore Milan fan is annoying. He's so good and would be amazing for us.

Hope for his sake Milan keep building on to the foundation they have and don't turn into a joke again.

Inter doesn't have a strong squad. Their starting 11 is fine and they have great depth in attack with Lautaro, Lukaku, Dzeko and Correa, but otherwise, their depth is abysmal. 4 good CMs for three positions, three of which are +29 years old. No good alternatives to Dumfries, and Darmian and Acerbi are solid CBs but there are loads of those in any strong league.

It is a case of an easy draw and a good coach. They might fluke a CL though.

Inter are not a bad side at all, however that AC Milan team is bad.

All their attacking danger pretty much rests on Leao, without him the drop off in quality is huge.

And Leao looks set to renew for 5 years. At least somewhat positive that not all talent funnels into PL.

Almost been a reverse in that average players who bounced off of the Prem have ended up at some Italian club (Lolkaku, Deulofeu, Darmian, bunch of English players, washed Sanchez) and most made something of themselves or helped make the league a bit more attractive for actually talented players

The tax rulings in Serie A make it a much more attractive destination for incoming players than Spain.

Especially now that Barcelona are struggling to stabilize their salary cap so there are few options outside of Madrid.

It's possible we will see more later stage runs of the Serie A clubs in the coming years ahead of the Spanish (excl. Madrid).

Because in Italy, they don't have money to replace you straight away if you perform poorly. They have a greater obligation to their players because they are too broke to just instantly go spend on someone else like PL clubs do.

It leads to the best result, because they give the player time and confidence to perform much more so and let them develop.

Imo Inter only has a shot of winning this edition of CL if they face City in the final, they may be ripped apart by both sides yet I see Madrid much likelier to win vs them in a final than City.

Also, CR7 and Messi's CL records/goals will be incinerated because of the low quality teams + more games

Thankfully, Messi won the WC and became immortal. CR7's main case for a top 4-6 player all time is based on his CL achievements, which might age poorly
