For a so called group of death, it didn't seem too hard for Bayern. 18/18 points, and not a single goal conceded to Inter or Barca (the only 2 came against Plzen). 4-0 aggregate vs Inter and 5-0 vs Barca. Whilst not being in best form and dropping a lot of points in Bundesliga.

Seems like a group of death in name only, whilst groups such as Tottenham's were probably similar in difficulty and doubt we'd have qualified from that one either.

Bayern is a special case, they haven't lost a group stage games in years, its their speciality to be flawless here.

They've started to smash teams domestically too now. They're almost top again. Bundesliga in general has done well in Europe this year. 16th place Leverkusen knocking out Atletico is embarrassing too.

Got to be the worst Spanish performance in the CL that I can ever remember.

People are heavily misreading Bayern.
Reminds me of days before the 2-8 when 5 out of 6 comments here were like "Bayern are hyped and not that good", and then LOL happened

Being complacent in a league they can win any time if they up their gear says nothing.
They have improved tremendously on last season, and Nagelsman is putting everything together
Their attack this season is scary and much less predictable without Lewa.
Sane, Coman, Mane, Gnabry and Musiala constantly interchanging positions and causing havoc to any defense, while Kimmich orchestrates from deep like no other.

He is an astute tactician, and even in games he found it difficult (Barca at Allianz for instance) he made all necessary adjustments to turn it around.

They are favorites on my book to win CL this season.
Right now they are better than everyone, even City.
Long way to go, but if CL was ending now they would have won it.

Great strike by Valverde again!

It must be said Celtic are awful, overall a pretty boring group, Leipzig was better than expected at least.
