The interesting thing about the CL this season more so than the last few imo, is all these top teams and a few smaller ones like Villa.
All are laser focused on trying to win it for varying reasons.
City no nothing else to play for
For us we want to make a serious run at the title.
Bayern even more than usual want to make a serious push.
Everyone is sleeping on inter but they are just as likely to win it all as anyone.

Right now, the race for the two extra spots in CL next season is close. England is flying high with over 19 pts this season.
Italy 2nd at 15.687 while Spain 3rd at 15.605, Portugal has 14.4, Germany fifth with 13.781.
The league format meant no more Osasuna situation of last year, when thet got zero points and dragged the whole league. Girona, Bologna and Leipzig all did awful, and Stutgart early elimination will be clostly for Bundesliga chances.
City will play either Bayern or Real, this draw abd result could change how this will look going forward.

I see different numbers now. Italy 14.125, Portugal 13.850, Spain 13.714
Also, what's that with number of clubs - England 11/7, Italy 12/8,...?

But outside of Madrid-City marquee match, that knockout round is absolutely shocking.
