Who is saying they are getting easy draws in the last years? Haven't seen it for years. It was true around a decade ago though. We get easier but still fuck it up.
Few are still saying they get easy draws. Point is that one season of easy draws made people say it is rigged in their favor but now they've had 8-9 seasons of tough draws.

City - Madrid lol
2020: City W
2022: Madrid W
2023: City W
2024: Madrid W

2025: time for City W again, isn't it?

Agreed.

But outside of Madrid-City marquee match, that knockout round is absolutely shocking.

That's good man.
Strong matchups are supposed to happen later.
The new format rectified problems of the 'luck of draw' of the previous format

City finishing 22nd and having strong opponent now is down to their own doing

Probably good for Madrid in the end, but yet another injury in defence: Lucas Vazquez will be OUT for 2-3 weeks.

City should overwhelm RM's one man midfield...

But what is more likely to happen is that City will invent 2-3 new ways to fuck up defensively on the spot and conciede.

You're welcome
City will buildup and control per usual but lack players for the latter. Real will win ball somewhere on their own half and that's it. City can't match Real's fast players. Easy game for Real to just counter and counter.

Every other City team that played them before in CL would've obliterate this Madrid in a two legged tie, except this one.

I would be very confident of beating Liverpool. I've watched Liverpool a fair bit. Great side, club and manager, but they haven't played anyone who come close to the attacking quality Barca have. And that's why they haven't been exposed, where they should have been exposed, at full back. Both Trent and Robertson have defended poorly all season.

It's a testament to the poor attacking quality in that league that Liverpool can dominate it with only one defender who can actually defend at a high level ( Van Dijk ). Lamine Vs Robertson and Raphinha Vs Trent is not something Flick will allow Liverpool to get away with.

Infact, if we were playing at Camp Nou, I would mortgage my house and put all the money on Barca to win the UCL this season. I'm that confident we would win.

Well it's CL day.

Let's see how City fucks up defensively this time. They have been extremely innovative lately.
