We got the best possible road to the final we could have asked for. Still not gonna automatically think it’s a walk in the park though. Benfica are very dangerous in counter attacks as we seen in group stage. Hopefully we will play much smarter and more smoothly than the 5-4 game.
2 goals were gifts from Tek, so it should be enough if he doesn't fuck up.

Leverkusen lack the individual quality to win big games, the other day they completely battered Bayern, held them to like zero shots on target till minute 75 yet still couldn't score.

Still, very dangerous team. Tho a potential game vs Inter could be the most boring game ever.
I wouldn't say they lack individual quality (Wirtz, Grimaldo, Tah, Frimpong) but it's not enough for the big stage against teams with years of CL experience. Bayern was already 8 points ahead of them so they didn't bother with attacking and dominating that game. For some reason Alonso didn't make a single substitute until the 81th min. and didn't even bother bringing on two strikers (Boniface and Schick) with the most goals this season.

Leverkusen struggles against non-Bundesliga teams (Liverpool, Atleti) and last season barely managed to beat Qarabag and later got trashed by Atalanta in the final. This season they are weaker, although they retained all the key players from the last season.

Tougher draw than last couple seasons even if could have been worse.

Last two seasons all things equal if finish above Inter in group would have been on rout to final.

22/23 Porto, Benfica and AC MIlan.
23/24 Napoli, PSG and Dortmund on route to final.

24/25 - Benfica, Dortmund/Lille, Bayern/Inter.

Get it done.

Wow a post without mentioning FDJ in it. Didn't know you had it in you, congratulations.

Even in semis... Inter is beatable over 2 legs and Bayern... Kompany's system is perfect for Hansi to feast on. All strong points of our game perfectly target Bayern's weak points.

If we meet Bayern in semis, it could be 12-0 on aggregate. And I'm not joking.

Bayern won't be there bro.
They are not good right now, Leverkusen will kick them out already.
And even if they manage to advance they have 0 chances against Inter

This format is great. Evidence that a good league position increases chances of easier draw.

Madrid, Bayern both underwhelming in league campaign and have tougher road.

People were saying top 8 is enough but here we are, we have easiest road to final of all thanks to finishing second.

Yes, but still with an element of unfairness.
Liverpool for instance did everything in the group, but will now have a path of PSG/Villa/Arsenal or Madrid to the final.
You can't say they deserved such a difficult path.

But I am not gonna complain this season, cauz we have the easiest path to a final EVER

If Liverpool had a draw against PSV, the later would have been the one in their way (or Brest) rather than PSG.
Resting players in their last game is the reason they are facing PSG, they did it to themselves.

Nah, what are you talking about?
You can't calculate where others will finish.
Besides these positions were changing every 2' in the final matchday
Liverpool finished 1st, did the best a team could do in group stages.

RM's path is likely: Atleti, Arsenal and PSG/Pool.

Love it.

BTW, would love some Simeone shithousery against Arsenal in the quarters.

They will kick Pathetico's ass with ease.
Simeone always BENDS over to them when there is something important at stake

But, yes, from QF onwards they have tough opponents.
